CORTICOCANCELLOUS

Corticocancellous Mineralized/Demineralized is a premium graft offering combining approximately 70% mineralized cortical bone with 30% demineralized cancellous bone plus BMP-2 in an optimal mixture for rapid bone regeneration.

Corticocancellous is a combination of:

  • Cortical & spongy bone derived from the ilium
  • Processed into multiple particulate sizes

The blend of cortical and cancellous components provides the structure of cortical bone with the open scaffolding for bone growth offered by cancellous bone.

Cancellous bone allows increased blood flow around the graft site, enhancing regeneration.

Cortical bone is dense and compact, helping maintain space in the graft site.

Slower resorption time in cancellous bone means this graft is good for maintaining space.

This natural combination provides dual advantages:

  • Slow-resorbing, space-maintaining cortical bone
  • Faster remodeling, osteoconductive cancellous bone

Cortical/Cancellous Bone Chips

Cortical Cancellous Chips grafts are bone chips with a robust structural and mechanical properties for filling bone loss and/or correcting bone defects. It is used for spinal fusion, oral and maxillofacial, prosthetic or bone graft growth as well as for general orthopedic reconstruction.

The proprietary eCOO®️ scCO2 Technology process provides excellent osteoconductive properties. This product forms a stable complex with the patient’s own bones.

Usage:

  • The product is disposable.
  • The product should be used after opening the bottle.
  • It should not be used for a second time to another patient.
